Job summary

Fidelity Digital Assets is seeking a Team Lead for Custody Operations on the night shift to oversee overnight digital asset activity. You will manage a team, ensure accurate processing, and uphold control frameworks and risk management in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

This onsite role requires leadership, deep knowledge of custody operations, and a client-focused mindset to sustain stability and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of operations experience in financial services, custody, brokerage, asset servicing, or digital assets.
• Experience as SME or team lead.
• Experience with 24x7 operations and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

The Role

The Team Lead, Custody Operations (Night Shift) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of digital asset custody operations during overnight hours. This role serves as the first level of leadership for a team of custody operations associates, ensuring the accurate processing of digital asset transactions, reconciliations, asset movements, and operational controls. The Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining operational stability, managing workflow priorities, resolving escalations, and supporting a strong risk and control environment. The successful candidate will combine operational expertise, leadership capability, and a client-focused mindset to deliver exceptional service while supporting FDA's commitment to security, compliance, and operational excellence.

The Skills and Expertise You Brin g

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of operations experience within financial services, custody, brokerage, asset servicing, or digital assets.
• Previous experience serving as a subject matter expert, senior associate, or team lead.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, settlements, and asset movement processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience within digital asset, cryptocurrency, or blockchain-related operations.
• Familiarity with institutional custody and digital asset servicing models.
• Understanding of operational risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working within a 24x7 operational support model.
• Continuous improvement, Lean, or process optimization experience.
