The Jay Group is seeking a 3rd Shift Team Lead at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, PA. This full-time role oversees and motivates a warehouse team to meet shift goals, communicates requirements, and ensures safe, productive operations.

Responsibilities include task assignment, performance coaching, on-the-floor training, WMS data handling, and maintaining quality standards while supporting overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team under pressure and keep focus on goals.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for daily performance.
• WMS experience preferred; willing to learn and document tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity.
• Monitors team output, coaching underperformers and reporting daily numbers.
• Audits work quality and provides feedback as needed.
• Supports supervision with documentation and training of new hires.
• Maintains professional conduct and promotes a safe, motivating workplace.
• Operates and/Systematically uses WMS for orders, manifests, and invoicing.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 11:00pm until 7:00am (OT will be required based on business need)

3rd Shift Team Lead Job Responsibilities

• Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity
• Monitors the productivity of your team members, sharing numbers daily and coaching underperformers
• Auditing the quality of work performed by your team members and giving feedback as necessary
• Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork
• Maintaining high standards for professional conduct
• Onboarding and Training new hires
• Giving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct
• Listening to feedback and resolve issues from your team, escalating as necessary
• Promoting a safe and motivating workplace and atmosphere
• Completing required tasks in a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Tasks would include printing orders, researching orders, following end of day processing for manifesting and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks while under pressure and work in a team environment.
• Must be able to provide leadership to team members on various projects.
• Strong communication skills, writing and verbal
• Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
• Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred, but not required.
• Must be available to work overtime as required.
• Bilingual for Spanish is preferred.
