Job summary

Everbrook Academy in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Team Lead to guide a preschool classroom, implement engaging curricula, and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. The role includes classroom leadership, strong communication with families, and mentoring new teachers while potentially stepping in as Director or Assistant Director in their absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state or accreditation education and experience requirements.
• Able to engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement and support the center’s success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, take on related duties, including opening and closing the school and ensuring daily care per licensing guidelines.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

• Pay $21.68-$22.53 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
