Job summary

Learning Care Group in Baltimore is seeking a Team Lead at a preschool to guide classroom instruction and curriculum, while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.

You will lead classroom management, mentor new hires, and coordinate with families to support each child's success. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers.
• Open and close the school when directed.
• Ensure daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.57-19.29 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
