Job summary

Learning Care Group in Michigan is seeking a Team Lead to assist with management, training, and mentoring of new and existing employees in our childcare setting.

You will mentor teachers, cover Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, and ensure high-quality daily care following licensing guidelines and company standards. Excellent communication with parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience coaching and training staff members.
• Associates degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and creating lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mentors to fellow teachers while supporting directors in daily school operations.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
