Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at our child care center to mentor teachers, lead classroom activities, and ensure high-quality daily care for children in a licensed setting.

You will rotate between mentoring new hires, stepping in as Director or Assistant Director when needed, and upholding licensing guidelines and company standards to create a safe, engaging environment for kids to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Mentor! Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of newhiresand your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader! Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert! Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
