Job summary

Learning Care Group in Detroit is seeking a Team Lead to support daily school operations, mentor teachers, and partner with directors to deliver high-quality care and education for children.

You will open and close the school in the director's absence, communicate with parents, and help maintain licensing compliance while fostering a warm, collaborative classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Experience coaching and training staff members.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and creating lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mentors to fellow teachers while supporting directors in daily school operations.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while mentoring teachers.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to support child success.

Job Requirements:
