Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to inspire children to become lifelong learners and to lead classroom instruction.

You will promote the social and cognitive growth of children, manage the classroom, and mentor new hires while supporting families and maintaining licensing standards. The role includes potential leadership duties in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, implementing lesson plans.
• A qualified candidate may have state accreditation requirements met or in progress.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsabilités

• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Support families and communicate to promote child achievement.
• Provide mentoring for new hires and fellow teachers; step in as Director/Assistant Director when needed.
• Ensure daily care following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Formation

College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

• Experience in a licensedchildcarefacility, leading a classroom,andimplementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards EarlyChildhoodEducation or ChildDevelopment degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
