Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead for our child care center. In this role you will promote social, physical and intellectual growth, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and engage families to support each child's achievement.

You will mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, and may assume Director or Assistant Director duties when needed, including opening and closing the center. Ensure daily care meets licensing guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state/accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote growth of children and lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
• Mentor and assist with training and onboarding of new hires and fellow Teachers as you create engaging learning experiences.
• Act as Director or Assistant Director in absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
