Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead at a childcare center to inspire children and support their growth through strong classroom leadership and curriculum implementation.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with families, and step into Director or Assistant Director roles when needed, ensuring daily care aligns with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate with families to promote achievement for the child and support center success.
• Mentor and assist with the training of new hires and fellow teachers, creating engaging learning experiences.
• Take on Director/Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the center.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
