Job summary

Rusty Taco is seeking a Team Lead to support the restaurant management team during daily operations in Gilbert, AZ. This hourly, non-exempt role focuses on delivering consistent service, food quality, and cleanliness while guiding team members on shift.

You will supervise staff, manage staffing levels, assist with deliveries, coach teammates on recipes and standards, and help with opening and closing duties. Strong communication and calm multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, professional, and a team player.
• Food Handler/Food Safety Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification where applicable.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Team Lead supports the restaurant management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth shifts while maintaining Rusty Taco’s high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness. This role is well-suited for individuals looking to grow into restaurant management positions.
