Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare is seeking a Team Lead for our Edison, NJ center. You will promote children's growth, lead classroom instruction, and collaborate with families to support student success.

You will mentor new hires and may assume Director/Assistant Director duties in their absence, ensuring daily care aligns with licensing guidelines and our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation; classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor and assist with management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.

• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $19.71-$20.48 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

• Monday-Friday work week
