Job summary

Station Casinos is seeking a Cook (Cocinero) to join our kitchen team and support the Executive Chef and assistants in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The role involves helping with cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling and steaming a variety of meats and vegetables while maintaining cleanliness and proper cold-item stock. Must meet safety and sanitation standards and obtain required work cards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years Cook experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports the Executive Chef and other kitchen leads while ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Assists with cooking tasks across stations: frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, and steaming meats, fish, eggs and vegetables.
