University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Exercise Sports Science. The 9-month, renewable, non-tenure track position involves teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate courses, advising students, and maintaining currency in the field.

Successful candidates will have a master's degree, strong teaching effectiveness, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or substantial progress toward a doctorate, or other approved qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to be an effective instructor.
• Clear and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and advise students.
• Maintain currency in the content area and provide regular feedback on student work.
• Develop and deliver inclusive teaching strategies and assessment methods.
