The Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) is an entrepreneurial non-profit organization (501c3) housed in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. The mission of MCEE is to equip Minnesotans with the economic and personal financial understanding needed to succeed in today's complex economy. MCEE develops and delivers professional development courses and workshops for K-12 teachers, provides direct programs to K-12 students, and collaborates with community agencies in personal finance education for youth and adults in diverse populations. The position involves serving as the executive director for MCEE and contributing to the teaching mission of the Department of Applied Economics. This is a 9-month, 100% appointment with guaranteed summer salary and administrative augmentation. The successful candidate will be hired into the appropriate job class based on education and experience, either 9401T or 9402T.
