An established industry player is seeking a dedicated team lead for their clinical and educational missions in Internal Medicine. This role involves capacity building through workforce development, clinical care, and teaching in a collaborative environment. The position is based in Eldoret, Kenya, where the lead will work closely with faculty, residents, and students from diverse backgrounds. Position Summary
The team lead acts as an ambassador, driver, and guide for the clinical and educational missions in Internal Medicine within the AMPATH consortium, connecting North American, European, and Kenyan institutions. Residing full-time in Eldoret, Kenya, their primary focus is capacity building through workforce development and delivering high-quality care, collaborating closely with faculty, residents, and students from Kenya, North America, and Europe to foster a respectful learning environment.
This role is supported by the Indiana University Center for Global Health Equity (IUCGHE) and the IU Department of Medicine. The team lead will hold appointments as a Visiting Assistant Professor at IU School of Medicine and a Visiting Lecturer at Moi University School of Medicine.
This is a 2-year position.
Supervisor
The clinical education lead reports to the IUCGHE Director and Director of Education, with daily activities managed by the AMPATH Executive Site Director. For responsibilities related to Moi University, they will also report to the Head of Department of Internal Medicine at Moi University.

Basic Qualifications
MD/DO with specialization in Internal Medicine or a related combined degree; board-certified or eligible.
