Job summary

KIPP MA is seeking Teaching Fellows who will co-teach and learn alongside Lead Teachers in kindergarten through fourth grade. Fellows receive coaching and targeted professional development with a pathway to becoming Lead Teachers after a year of intensive development.

Fellows form strong relationships with students and families, participate in pre-service and ongoing PD, and work toward MTEL endorsements with support from the program.

Qualifications

• Entry-level teaching candidates with fewer years of experience.
• Participation in weekly coaching and planning with Lead Teacher.
• Pursue MTEL and SEI endorsements within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Co-teach small group and whole group lessons.
• Take on solo teaching responsibilities over time.
• Build strong relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with grade level and content teams to tackle challenges.
• Attend school-wide professional development and coaching sessions.
