The Department of English at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for full-time, non-tenure-track teaching faculty positions, starting August 2025.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory undergraduate courses in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric.
Appointments will be at the ranks of Lecturer, Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor.
Lecturers and Assistant Teaching Professors teach seven courses annually; Associate Teaching Professors teach six courses annually.
These are term appointments with renewal potential. Rank and duration depend on education and qualifications.

A Master's degree or higher in English or a related field is required by the appointment date.
