The Department of Psychology seeks faculty to provide high‑quality, student‑centered instruction in undergraduate psychology courses. Faculty are expected to contribute significantly to teaching excellence, student advising and mentoring, curriculum development, program assessment, and service activities at the department, college, and university levels.
Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels; use evidence‑based pedagogical practices; advise and mentor students, including support for applied or independent projects; and engage in service that supports departmental, college, and university missions. While scholarly activity is valued, research productivity and external funding are not primary expectations for this position.
