Chatham University is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant for the ENV327W class (Writing about Environmental Science) in Fall 2026. The TA will help students meet writing goals, review and edit submissions, and meet with students outside of class hours either in person or virtually.
Preference given to students who have excelled in ENV327W; strong written communication is required. Attendance at Fall semester class meetings is expected, and the TA may direct students to the Writing Center.
The student awarded this position will work with students in the ENV327W class (Writing about Environmental Science) during Fall 2026 to help them meet the writing goals of the class. Students who have already excelled in ENV327W are preferred, but anyone with solid written communication skills can apply. Applicants must be available to attend the Fall semester’s class meetings. The TA will be available to meet with students outside of class hours, either in-person or virtually.
Approved for 300 hours (20 hours/week for 15 weeks) at $15/hr.
All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.
Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
