Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils in Chesterfield, with flexible full-time and part-time supply options. The role offers opportunities across the Trust and includes a dedicated consultant, CPD access, and progression routes.

Successful candidates will have Level 3 TA qualification, classroom experience, 3+ months working with young people, and an up-to-date DBS; right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Experience working in a classroom environment or similar setting.
• At least 3 months’ experience working with young people.
• A positive, reliable and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new enhanced DBS.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.

• Work with pupils individually, in small groups and as part of whole-class activities.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
