AxamyOne Jobs is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will help pupils with their learning under the SENDCo’s supervision, both in class and in small groups.

The position is term-time only, 31.25 hours per week with a 30-minute lunchtime supervision duty, starting as soon as possible. An enhanced DBS is required, and the closing date is Friday 9 October 2026.

About The Role

JOB TITLE: Teaching Assistant

REPORTS TO: SENDCo and Assistant SENDCO

SALARY SCALE: NJC point 4

HOURS: 31.25 hours per week includes a 30 minute lunchtime supervision duty (8.55am to 3.4pm, Monday to Friday, term time only)

We are keen to recruit a teaching assistant to join our existing team. You will work with supportive and collaborative colleagues in supporting our pupils with their learning under the supervision of the SENDCo. We have a wide range of students with additional needs and our teaching assistants work with the students both in class and in small group settings. Please see the attached job description and person specification for more details about the role.

The start date for the position is as soon as possible and the closing date for this round of applications is midday on Friday 9th October 2026.
