Connex Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Taunton and surrounding areas from September 2026. The role offers flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and long-term opportunities within mainstream primary schools, helping children access learning and achieve targets.
You’ll work with teachers and SENCOs to support learners with diverse needs, promoting confidence, independence, and inclusive learning environments.
Location: Taunton and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £93 - £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2026
Connex Education is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils within mainstream primary schools across Taunton and the surrounding areas from September 2026.
We are looking for individuals interested in a mixture of flexible day-to-day supply work, short-term placements, and long-term opportunities, supporting children with a range of additional learning needs within inclusive classroom environments.
You will work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual targets.
