Job summary

Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta seeks a Program Coordinator for the Teaching Academy. The role provides administrative and operational support to coordinate programs, events, and faculty development initiatives that promote excellence in medical education.

You will serve as the primary contact for academy leadership, collaborate with faculty and leadership, and ensure implementation of the academy’s mission to foster innovation and scholarship in teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of administrative or program coordination experience, preferably in education.
• Experience supporting faculty development or educational programs strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of Teaching Academy programs, workshops, seminars, and faculty development events.
• Manage program calendars, logistics, room bookings, materials, catering, and technology setup.
• Track attendance, collect evaluations, and prepare summary reports on program outcomes.
• Maintain an accurate database of mentors/participants and applicants.
