Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced instructional designer to evaluate and refine interactive learning materials for accuracy and engagement. This remote contract role offers 10-40 hours per week and an hourly rate of $90-$130.

You will analyze learning interactions, apply rubrics and grading criteria, and provide expert feedback on educational content to support academic rigor and AI-driven educational tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an instructional designer or educator in K-12, higher education, or edtech.
• Proven success in designing or evaluating educational media.
• Ability to judge academic correctness and developmental value.
• Hands-on experience with rubrics and grading systems.
• Experience creating visual or interactive learning materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
