Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced instructional designer for a remote contract role. You will evaluate and refine interactive learning materials for accuracy and engagement, analyze learning interactions to enhance understanding, and apply and enhance assessment rubrics and grading criteria to ensure academic rigor.

Responsibilities include providing expert feedback on educational content, developing and reviewing instructional resources to boost comprehension, documenting observations

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as instructional designer or educator in K-12, higher education, or edtech.
• Proven success designing or evaluating educational media.
• Proficiency in judging academic correctness and developmental value.
• Hands-on practice with rubrics and grading systems.
• Experience creating visual or interactive learning materials.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $90 - $130/hour
