Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics for South Orange Middle School to implement a challenging middle school math curriculum and support diverse learners. This 1.0 FTE position is available immediately and located at South Orange Middle School in New Jersey.

Candidates must hold New Jersey Certification for Math (Grades 6–8) or Elementary with Math specialization, with knowledge of Common Core Standards and Differentiated Instruction.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Certification required; Teacher of Math or Elementary with Math Specialization Grades 6-8.
• Working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards and the Standards of Mathematical Practice.
• Experience with differentiated instruction.
• Teaching experience preferred, especially with middle school students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially rapport with children.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
