THE POSITION

The goal of this position is to teach middle school students within a challenging Mathematics curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• 1. New Jersey Certification required; Teacher of Math or Elementary with Math Specialization Grades 6-8.
• 2. Working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards and the Standards of Mathematical Practice.
• 3. Experience with differentiated instruction.
• 4. Teaching experience preferred, especially with middle school students.
• 5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially excellent rapport with children.
• 6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.

Starting Salary Range:

• Bachelor's Degree: $70,000 - 100,315
• Master's Degree: $77,450 - $109,865
• Master's + 30 Credits: $81,565 - $115,450
• Doctorate: $84,565 - $118,450

JOB GOAL(S)

To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.
