Tucson Unified School District's Mansfeld Middle Magnet School is seeking an ELD teacher to manage the learning environment, develop lesson plans, instruct students, and monitor progress to raise achievement. The role requires Arizona teaching certificates in Middle Grades Language Arts or English, plus SEI or ESL endorsements, and a current fingerprint clearance.
The position is 0.6 to 4.5 hours per day (9.5-month calendar).
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. ELD teacher duties may also include AZELLA testing and other ADE compliance requirements for English Learners and other PHLOTE students.

LOCATION: Mansfeld Middle Magnet School - 6th Street & Mountain Area
FTE: 0.6 - 4.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 months
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
