MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Arizona Secondary Certificate with Spanish Approved Area or Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with Spanish Approved Area
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

COMMENTS

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Palo Verde High Magnet School - 22nd & Kolb Area
FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent certifications, positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
