Job summary

The role collaborates with teachers, curriculum leaders, and principals to deliver job-embedded professional learning and align with Board of Education policies.

The position involves school-based and district-level work under the Teacher Leader Pathways Manager, with a focus on enhancing instructional leadership through targeted professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Valid NC Teaching license required.
• Minimum of five years' successful content-area teaching experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with management and school leadership to implement teacher leader roles.
• Assist with talent pool processes for teacher leader roles and grant writing.
• Coach and build teacher leader capacity to meet district goals.
• Support recruitment and retention of teacher leaders through advertising and marketing.
• Develop and implement coaching models and guidelines for teacher leaders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education or related field

Valid NC Teaching license

Five years' experience as successful content area teacher

Equivalent combination of education and experience
