Job summary

Monticello Public Schools is seeking a licensed EL and Spanish teacher to provide full-time direct service for secondary multilingual learners at Monticello High School. This is a long-term substitute position at 1.0 FTE with an immediate start date.

The role requires a current Minnesota secondary teaching license, with EL endorsement preferred. The ideal candidate will establish a culture for learning, engage diverse students, and uphold confidentiality while aligning with the district's

Qualifications

• Understanding of Minnesota Academic Standards for content areas.
• Ability to inspire and engage diverse multilingual learners.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Experience with culturally and linguistically responsive (CLR) methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide EL and Spanish instruction to secondary multilingual learners.
• Deliver daily instruction as a long-term substitute.
• Collaborate with school and district to support multilingual learners.

Licensure

• Current secondary teaching license for the State of Minnesota
• EL License preferred
