Responsibilities

  • Analyzes student data to design region-wide professional development for new teachers.
  • Collaborates with region staff to support new teachers and improve retention.
  • Assesses new teacher retention data and identifies influencing factors.
  • Delivers mentor-focused professional development using research-based strategies.
  • Guides provisional and university intern participants to meet credential requirements.
  • Develops instructional tools for LAUSD Learning to Teach pathway and shares with staff.
  • Acts as liaison between Teacher Development and Support Branch and National Board Certified teachers.
