Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a Regional Team Specialist to support teachers across multiple schools while delivering high-quality instruction in the classroom. The RTS will lead collaborative time, develop online resources, and coordinate professional learning in alignment with district goals.

The role emphasizes equity, instructional leadership, and partnership with Content Coordinators to drive student achievement and staff development within Colorado.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required.
  • Must meet all licensure and certification requirements for teacher role in the District.
  • Must hold a District teacher position evaluated through LEAP and responsible for student outcomes in Infinite Campus.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Builds the capacity of a team of teachers in the same content area, facilitating collaborative time at Teal Days.
  • Works with Content Coordinators to align expectations, processes, and objectives with district goals.
  • Fulfills leadership functions to support teacher learning within their content area (resources, PLCs, PDs).
  • Lead two Learning Labs per semester and participate in Citywide events to support teacher collaboration.
