Job summary

Huntingdon First Baptist Church WEE Care Ministry in Huntingdon, TN, seeks a dedicated teacher for preschool and/or infant classrooms. You will help provide a Christian environment where children grow physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; childcare experience is desirable. You must enjoy working with active children and be prepared for eight-hour days, Monday through Friday.

• Physical stamina to keep up with active children is a must.
• Minimum qualifications: a high school diploma or GED.
• Additional education and/or experience in the childcare field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a Christian environment in which children may grow physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
• Give each child the attention needed to assure his/her welfare (eating, toileting, sleeping, and playing).
• Work with other teachers to ensure a clean and orderly room.
