Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools in East Windsor, NJ, is seeking a Teacher Assistant Preschool to support lead teachers and nurture young learners in a Montessori setting. Hours are 8:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–6:30pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to contribute to a warm and engaging classroom.

You will help implement lesson plans, maintain child records, and foster independence, curiosity, and social development while working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• An understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Teacher Assistant Preschool

Location: East Windsor, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pmor 1:00pm to 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
