Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools in Hillsborough, NJ seeks a Teacher Assistant Preschool to support Lead Teachers in a caring Montessori setting. Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:30pm–6:30pm. You will help create a safe, engaging learning environment and assist with lesson plans, records, and family communication.

Ideal candidates love children, can multitask, and are committed to health and safety. CPR/First Aid is required or willingness to obtain; HS diploma or GED required. 17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• An understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Teacher Assistant Preschool

Location: Hillsborough, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you'll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
