Apple Montessori Schools in Paramus, NJ invites applications for a Teacher Assistant Infant and Toddler. You will support Lead Teachers in a Montessori setting, helping children explore, grow, and build independence with warmth and encouragement.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe learning environment, supporting lesson plans, and communicating with families. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and strong communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Love of children and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines.

Teacher Assistant Infant and Toddler

Location: Paramus, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday,

Infant: 8:00am to 1:00pm OR 3:30pm to 6:30pm

Toddler: 1:00pm to 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you'll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
