The Children’s Guild is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in delivering individualized care and education for students with special needs in the classroom. You will assist with planning, reinforce learning through small-group and one-on-one instruction, and help maintain accurate attendance and grade records.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in classroom or childcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with lesson planning, preparation, and classroom instruction.
• Reinforce lessons by working with students individually or in small groups.
• Support student supervision during lunch, recess, transitions, and field trips.
• Help maintain attendance and grades records.
• Document student progress and communicate updates to families.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive classroom environment.
