Job summary

The Children’s Guild, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for our Baltimore, MD campus. You will provide direct, individualized instruction to students with special needs, developing and implementing IEPs based on data and differentiated strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Higher Degree (experience in special education preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs or autism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Emphasis on individualized instruction: develop and implement IEPs based on student data with differentiated strategies.
• Collaborative approach: participate in meetings, PLCs, and ongoing supervision to support teamwork.
• Behavior management skills: experience with PBIS and restorative practices.
• Communication: regular communication with parents and caregivers.
