LIFESPAN Services Early Learning Center Statesville is hiring Teacher Assistants to support children with developmental delays and typically developing peers in a blended, inclusive environment. Training is provided, and employees gain access to a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, promoting social-emotional learning, and documenting daily activities. A high school diploma or GED is required, with ongoing credentialing support and a focus on classroom

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One-year experience in a child care setting or working with special education students preferred.
• Must be registered to obtain North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials within 6 months of hire.
• Pass criminal record and healthcare registry check.
