Job summary

Stevens Treatment Programs in Swansea, MA is seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant to support students ages 11-22 who have experienced trauma. You will help them succeed academically while fostering their social, emotional, and behavioral growth, becoming a caring adult in their lives.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) with early start times. A bilingual Spanish premium of $1/hour is available, plus up to $1/hour merit increase for medication administration duties.

At Stevens Treatment Programs, we provide residential treatment and special education services to youth ages 11-22 who have experienced complex trauma and behavioral challenges. Our mission is to empower youth to lead successful lives through high-quality treatment and education in a safe, nurturing environment.

As a Teacher Assistant, you help students succeed academically while supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral growth. More importantly, you’ll become one of the caring adults who can truly make a lasting difference in a young person’s life.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
• One day each week (currently Wednesday): 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Remaining weekdays: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• One weekday ends at 2:00 PM to offset the extended Wednesday schedule.
• $20.00-$21.50/hour, based on education and experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for demonstrated bilingual fluency in Spanish
• Potential $1.00/hour merit increase for medication administration responsibilities
