TEACHER ASSISTANT - Part Time
SUMMARY
The FREEdom School is a tuition-free, private (independent) micro-school serving approximately ten 9th grade students and ten 10th grade students. At The FREEdom School, we uphold four sacred values:
We are seeking an engaging, well-prepared, and caring Teacher Assistant who has the eagerness, patience, love, care, and skills to support the academic development of our students.
The position is part-time, working with one cohort of up to ten 9th graders, ideally one-on-one and with small groups of students. The Teacher Assistant plays a critical role in the lives of young people at the school as they will see them every day.

The Teacher Assistant will ride in a 15-passenger van with students daily. The Navigator is the driver of this van.

This is an hourly, part-time position:
There is a possibility for the Teacher Assistant to stay on Wednesdays from 2:00pm-5:00pm for Staff Professional Development.
