Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. in New Jersey is hiring a Teacher Aide to support classroom teachers and assistants, help with meals, and maintain a clean, engaging learning space for children.

You will observe, assess, plan for children, and communicate with families, while receiving extensive training on childcare and child development topics.

Qualifications

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• Experience working with children in some capacity preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Support Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for, and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack. Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Teacher Aides:

• Help! Supports Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for, and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack. Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.
• Engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Learn! Complete extensive training onchildcare, preschooland childdevelopment topics.

Job Qualifications:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $16.40 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
