Job summary

Learning Care Group in Woodlawn, MD is seeking Teacher Aides to support Teachers and Assistant Teachers in delivering safe, high-quality care for children. You will follow licensing guidelines, maintain a clean, engaging classroom, assist with meals, and observe child development while communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity.
• Experience with children preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Care: Follow licensing guidelines and keep a clean, organized classroom.
• Help: Assist teachers before and after meals and sanitize the classroom.
• Engage: Observe, assess and plan for children's needs and communicate with families.
• Learn: Complete training on childcare topics to support ongoing growth.

Teacher Aides:

• Care! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.Maintain a fun,interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
  
• Help! Supports Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for, and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack. Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.
• Engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Learn! Complete extensive training onchildcare, preschooland childdevelopment topics.

Job Qualifications:

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• Experience working with children in some capacity preferred
• We will train!
