Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Teacher Aide in New Jersey to support Teachers and safer classroom operations. Join a caring team that prioritizes children, families, and staff, with a Monday-Friday schedule and a strong benefits package.

You will help with meals, classroom setup, and engaging activities, while participating in ongoing training to support child development.

Qualifications

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage with children.
• Experience with children preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care.
• Assist Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for meals and cleaning up; sanitize classroom.
• Observe, assess and plan for children and communicate with families effectively.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

The Teacher Aide will support the Teachers and Assistant Teachers to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision and effective implementation of Learning Care Group’s Education Value Proposition.

Teacher Aides:

• Care! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.Maintain a fun,interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
  
• Help! Supports Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for, and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack. Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.
• Engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Learn! Complete extensive training onchildcare, preschooland childdevelopment topics.

Job Qualifications:

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• Experience working with children in some capacity preferred
• We will train!

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $16.40 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

• Monday-Friday work week
