The Learning Experience in Riverton, NJ is seeking a passionate Infant Teacher to provide nurturing care in a safe classroom and to support infant development while partnering with families.

This role offers a collaborative team, ongoing development opportunities, and competitive pay of $16.00–$19.00 per hour, with benefits such as health and dental insurance, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA/AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Experience with infants in licensed childcare or early education setting
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to support infant growth and development
• Monitor and track developmental milestones for each child
• Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding daily progress
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols including diapering, feeding, and sleep routines
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
• Maintain accurate daily records and reports for each infant

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of infant developmental stages and best practices
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 35 lbs
• Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with babies
• Must meet state licensing background check requirements
