Maintenance Technician ($28.50 - $32.50/hr.) - Night Shift (8:00pm - 8:00am)

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Night Maintenance Technician based in Fort Mill, SC. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role's primary focus will be to maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

What you’ll do:

1. Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
2. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
3. Test, locate, and repair electrical circuits and equipment; perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting; replace broken or defective parts; repair electrical motors, wiring, and other electrical devices.
4. Assist management in developing new policies and procedures related to employee safety.
5. Identify problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
6. Perform preventive maintenance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
7. Repair electrical motors, wiring, and other electrical devices.
8. Perform all other assigned duties.

What you’ll bring:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude.
3. At least 3 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
4. Strong mechanical and electrical skill sets.
5. Ability to utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
6. Experience with installation and disassembly of machinery and equipment.
7. Adaptability to changing work environments and handling multiple demands calmly.
8. Knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles.
9. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
10. Basic computer skills.
11. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

1. Complete required training.
2. Develop relationships with key stakeholders.

The current pay range for this position is $28.50 to $32.50, depending on factors such as experience, education, and skills. Compensation may also include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
