As part of TCEQ's Chief Budget & Efficiency Office, you would assist the Executive Office with oversight of the agency's budget, strategic planning, and promoting efficiency.
This position is a member of our Fiscal Control Division.
A bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, finance, economics, business, or public administration from an accredited college or university, plus one year of experience where the majority of time was spent in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.*
OR
Five years of experience where the majority of time was spent in accounting, auditing, or budgeting.*
OR
Certification as a public accountant (CPA).
