Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team seeks a Technology Cost Transparency Principal to lead cost transparency, service costing, and investment optimization across the TBMO. You will advise senior leadership, translate tech data into actionable insights with Apptio, and drive governance across finance and operations to enable strategic decisions.

You will apply AI and advanced analytics to improve processes, optimize technology investment, and deliver business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
7-8+ years in TBM or technology financial management.
Experience with Apptio and TBM to deliver cost transparency and business value.
Ability to influence executives with data-driven business cases and presentations.
AI fluency including generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

Lead technology cost transparency, service costing, recovery, transfer pricing, benchmarking, and investment optimization.
Advise the Director of Technology Cost Transparency and shape TBM priorities with executive-ready recommendations.
Leverage Apptio as a core TBM component to translate cost and usage data into insights.
Govern and integrate data sources from Finance, HR, Procurement, and operations for trusted reporting.
Drive AI-powered capabilities to modernize processes and accelerate insight generation.
